"French" gates

The "French" gate is gorgeous and rustic. Hand made from chestnut stakes, it combines perfectly with our split stake fence and is in harmony with nature. The frame is constructed using traditional mortise and tenon joints. The remaining stakes are planed, then mounted on the frame using stainless steel crews. Each gate is deliverd complete with two posts, handles, hinges and closures, all galvanised and ready to install. Available as a single or two leaf gate.

   Price VAT double gate

A two leaf "French" gate is the perfect solution to create a wider gap between two posts, for example to allow for vehicle acces. The table below is for two leaf gates, where each leaf is the same size. If you would like two leafs of different size (for example one 100 cm wide and the other 150 cm wide), or if you need a gate made to mesure (e.g. taller, or a different width) then please contact us!

Standard the simple gate is delivered with hinges in threaded rod to open in both directions.
Optional standard hinges / pushing inwards.

Pricing single gate

A single French gate is a very attractive entrance for your flower garden, or vegetable plot. It blends well especially with split stake fencing. If you would like a different size, perhaps for an entrance between two walls, please contact us.
