Stakes

Chestnut stakes are very durable. They are not chemically treated, which is good for the environment. The stake is the de-barked, but the tannin contained in the wood gives the stake its longevity. The stakes are pointed at the thickest end, and are available in different lengths and thicknesses.

How many stakes do I need?

Depending on the heigth of the fence, and the shape of the enclosure, you may need a number of different posts to erect a new fence. The standard post has a diameter of 8 to 10 cm.
